Primarily an oil painter, William aims to understand himself and the world around him in his work.

He does this by telling stories of the people and places he encounters - from his captivating menagerie of friends to his eccentric Grandad Steve.

He persistently approaches art by documenting his experiences to replicate the gentle, and sometimes intense, flow of life.
